I’ve held my tongue for quite some time because I had to keep food on the table, and a roof over my head. But now that I’m no longer employed by Nielsen Media Research (nee The Nielsen Company) I can speak out. As you may have heard from Sweet Lou Dobbs a few months back, Nielsen has engaged in outsourcing to an Indian company by the name of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This is true, but I’m not sure most people understand just what Nielsen and TCS are doing. And more importantly, why it must fail.

… On Racetrack Road EVERY frickin’ day at 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Really, the two times a day you choose to ride your damn bike down one of Tampa’s busiest two-lanes roads are the morning AND afternoon rush hours? Are you bleeding kidding me? Of all the hours in the day, and roads in this city, you find the combination that is both the most dangerous to yourself and of the greatest hinderance to your fellow man. Bravo!

The people who design, build, market, or are otherwise involved in the production of printers deserve a cockpunch. Each and every one of them. Even the ladies. What the frak is so damn hard about depositing ink onto paper? I mean, for the love of all that is holy, they invented printers BEFORE computers. How hard is this to get right?

Why, why, why does a printer work on Tuesday, then not on Wednesday? And no one changed anything! But lo and behold, if you go screw around with the printer queue something will get checked or unchecked and magically the damn thing will work again.

This is why we need paperless offices. So that we don’t have to deal with these godforsaken printers.
